Save Time and Money with Square & Rectangle Fencing!
We were truly honored to be able to bless the Happy Acres Cowboy Church with the materials to build the new Outdoor GoBob Arena. For years we have been trying to get the word out that folks are money ahead if they build out of steel square and rectangle tubing.
When building the new arena, we wanted to showcase just all the ways you can use the material to build with and at almost half the cost of pipe fence.
Why choose square & rectangle fencing?
Here are the Four BIG Reasons to build with Square and Rectangle:
1. Build it in Half the Time! – Half the labor!
• No saddling to do. No torch work to do. Just make your cuts with a chop saw and weld it up!
• There were two contractors that worked on the corral. BOTH will tell you it took about half the time they thought it would.
2. Foot To Foot, Material Costs Average of 20% LESS!
• For example, if you compare new 2 3/8 SCH 40 pipe to new 1.5″ X 2.5″ X 3/16″, the rectangle would weigh 16% more but it would cost 39% LESS!
3. Squares and Rectangle Steel Tubing is Stronger than Pipe!
• A foot of steel tubing almost always contains more steel than a foot of pipe.
• The square or rectangle shape makes it stiffer, harder to bend, and increases the yield strength by an average of 25%.
4. You will use Fewer Posts!
• Because square and rectangle posts are stronger than pipe, you will space your posts up to 12 feet instead of 8 feet.
• Posts are the most expensive part of your fence. Not only do you have to cut them, Pipe posts have to be saddled.
• All posts have to be driven or you have to drill a hole and use concrete. You will use up to 40% fewer posts if you use square and rectangle steel tubing.
