Hay feeder wagons have been popular in the colder climates for many years because you get more hay to your cattle in less trips. Some of those saved trips would have been made in extreme cold, wind and sleet so both human and animal benefit but cost has been a problem. When we went looking for a manufacturer we learned that all the manufacturers were located “up North” or “back East”. Because of their bulk, shipping is expensive and we think that may be why you don’t see too many hay feeder wagons around here, but that is about to change.
The Handy Hay Feeder Wagon is manufactured almost on the Kansas / Oklahoma border about midway across the states. This will make it possible for livestock producers in the Southwest, South and Southeast to take advantage of this efficient way to move and feed hay!
The Handy Hay Feeder Wagon is currently available with 20 ft. or 24 ft. hay cradles, with an optional gooseneck extension (pictured).
2 Wheel Dolly
This trailer can be moved by hand when empty which makes hooking up to your tractor, pick-up, anything, extremely quick and easy.
Two Wheel Dolly makes backing into tight places very, very easy.
Sturdy Frame
Sturdy frame is made from 3 ½” square steel tubing with a 3/16ths wall.
Heavy Duty Axles
7000 lb. axles handle about any weight bales you can load into the Handy Hay Feeder Wagon.
Wire Bottom Cradle
Sub-frame consists of 1 ½” X 3” 11 ga. rectangular steel tubing.
Wire bottom cradle allows rain & moisture to escape.
