GoBob cattle guards are made from 100% NEW STEEL! We NEVER use "used" pipe in our cattle guards which means they will outlast you and me put together! AND they are HEEAVEE! They are built to stand up to semi's, cement trucks and drilling rigs.

Check this out; Even though the picture above shows round pipe skids (that's the runners on the bottom for you newbies), we are now having them built with 6 inch SQUARE pipe. We figured out it makes your cattle guard more stable with the flat bottom. We come across that with heavy 5 1/2" OD pipe. The top runners are a heavy 2 1/2" OD or 2 7/8" OD. We then cap off the ends with 3x3 angle to keep the critters out and finish off the front and back with a steel skirt to keep your fill out from under the cattle guard. It all adds up to the best dang cattle guard you can buy. Does it cost more than a concrete cattle guard? Well duh! But you will replace that concrete cattle guard 5 or 6 times before you even think about replacing our STEEL cattle guard.
